This retro fit on an existing timber frame lodge required a considerate approach. The goal was to add multiple zones of independently controlled conditioned air whilst minimizing impact to the stunning, timber framed interior and warm exterior.

To compliment the interior, we selected and strategically placed our Mitsubishi one way ceiling cassette units to fit within the timber beams and worked with the client to route interconnecting pipework in a manor that could be concealed with matching timber trim resulting in an uninterrupted aesthetic.

For the exterior we placed the outdoor units at locations hidden from the view inside and colour matched pipe work covers to the exiting metal flashing used throughout the lodge.

Right from the start of this project, built by Arcadian Contracting, the desired outcome was to offer premium, discrete comfort for the guests at Arrowhead Lodge.

This build, comprised of 3 levels and seven zones across 4000 sq.ft of living space. 3 outdoor units were required to feed the 7 zones made up of 6 Mitsubishi One way ceiling cassettes and a ceiling concealed ducted unit for the main living space.

All zones were fitted with unobtrusive touchscreen wall controllers to allow each guest to adjust their space to their own personal needs.

Additionally we added an intergrated main controller unit that combines at one terminal. This added feature allows staff to ensure all rooms are ready for the arrival of guests and be able to turn off all at once to save energy when not in use.
